Cropwell Bishop Stilton: A selection of British Blues wouldn't be complete with a great Stilton. In our opinion, the finest Blue Stilton made today is Cropwell Bishop. Ours is creamy, never harsh, and the fact that it was the only Blue Stilton to win Gold Medals at both the British and World Cheese Awards perhaps proves the point. Cut cheese approx 250g.
Beauvale: A modern blue inspired by various continental cheeses, perhaps most directly the Gorgonzola Dolce , with its silky melting texture and milder profile. A well-balanced and supple blue, threaded with delicate moulds and savoury, almost meaty flavours. Beauvale was declared Best Blue Cheese at the Royal Bath and West Show, home of the British Cheese Awards. A lovely way to finish a British cheese board. Cut cheese approx 250g.
Harrogate Blue: Soft, luxuriously creamy and blue-veined, delivering a mellow flavour with a hint of pepper to finish. Winner of two golds at the 2017 Global Cheese Awards it recently won a Super Gold at The World Cheese Awards ... judged to be the 11th best cheese in the world! Taste it to find out for yourself. Cote Hill Blue The unique taste of the Cote Hill Blue is due, in part, to the cows summer grazing of rich clover pastures, and winter feed of maize silage and home made clover haylage. The use of unpasteurized milk also gives it its own character ... a soft rinded, creamy textured blue cheese. Think blue Brie and you will be somewhere close. Gorgeous. Whole cheese approx 330g.
Rosebud Preserves Fig Chutney: A rich and piquant mix of juicy figs, molassed sugar, warm cinnamon and fresh orange. The prefect companion for these British cheeses. Approx 198g.
